Lovely Decorative Marble Plate Hand-painted With Vibrant Colors and Gold Trim - Beautiful Collectible Item.
India artwork of this nature is a handcrafted piece of marble which has pure gold leaf on it. This ancient traditional art form has its origin in the royal city of Jaipur. Once a marble product is made, designs are imprinted with gold leaf with an adhesive. These areas are further embellished with pure gold polish and modern-day colors and in the end the whole piece is lacquered.
