The soft and light fabric is yellow, and has a slight shine. It is hand-printed in terracotta with the images of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati and their son Lord Ganesh, the elephant-headed god, when he was young. The mantra “Om Namah Shivaya” is also printed in decorative Sanskrit letters, an attractive contrast that highlights the ancient prayer.
