This Vintage Silent Butler decorated with Pheasants, plants and butterflies is gold gilt silent butler/crumb catcher is from the 1930. It has a hinged lid and a decorative gold design painted inside. It is made of white porcelain with a hinged lid which has a thumb tab. This pretty butler can be beautifully display on a table or useful on your dining room table. A lovely container for potpourri or jewelry. There are no nicks or cracks. The gold is thin around parts of the handle.
